This Kingfisher Nebula was a very early piece that began my bird 'Nebula' series of paintings.
This inspiration for this one perhaps derived from some beautiful street art of a Kingfisher that just appeared near my home one day. I cannot be sure of that but they are such elusive and beautiful birds so it was perhaps inevitable that I would attempt it one day.
The Kingfisher Nebula is an A4 (29.7cm x 21cm) giclee print (which means high quality and long lasting) on 300gsm textured fine art paper using the finest archival quality inks. The image was created using traditional soft pastel painting on acid free black paper. It was then photographed and edited for print production using digital software.
The item comes without frame and delivered first class using sustainable eco friendly packaging.
