The Rabbit in the Moon is a painting that came very quickly and intuitively. It began as an experiment in using monochrome colours rather than my traditional rich colour palette. I wanted to create a piece of fantasy art that leant upon the old mythologies of the appearance of objects in the moon. And so this wonderland Rabbit appeared! The painting is done in a very loose style with a lot of quick strokes and paint flicks! I hope you like it :)))
The Rabbit in the Moon is an A4 (29.7cm x 21cm) giclee print (which means high quality and long lasting) on 300gsm textured fine art paper using the finest archival quality inks. The image was created using soft pastel pencils, oil pastels and acrylic painting on acid free black paper. It was then photographed and edited for print production using digital software.
The item comes without frame and delivered first class using sustainable eco friendly packaging.
