I found this beautiful Queens Staffordshire China teacup in a thrift store. It has delicate gold edges with exquisitely detailed paintings of Strawberries, leaves and butterflies.
I like to paint items I have found, that 'jump out' at me while shopping. And of course, my favourite Robin is in the picture. I wonder what he is doing in that flying teacup? Eating those tasty strawberries no doubt! This painting mirrors and complements another in my shop 'Robin in Wonderland' as both have an Alice in Wonderland type of feel. I hope you like it! :))
Robin and the Magic Teacup is an A4 (29.7cm x 21cm) giclee print (which means high quality and long lasting) on 300gsm textured fine art paper using the finest archival quality inks. The image was created using traditional soft pencils utilising the found items on acid free black paper. It was then photographed and edited for print production using digital software.
The item comes without frame and delivered first class using sustainable eco friendly packaging.
